Drying is one of the best methods to preserve the precious ingredients of wild herbs. The gentlest way to do this is at low temperatures below 38 degrees. A dehydrator is ideal for drying herbs evenly and slowly. Alternatively, you can use the oven: simply heat it up briefly on a low level and then use the residual heat without electricity. Since humidity is often high in autumn, this method is more practical than drying in the open air.
