How is rosehip pulp prepared?
Rosehip pulp can be purchased all year round at the supermarket or health food store. Prices start from 1.75 euros per glass. This is not really expensive, but purchased rosehip pulp contains between 50 and 60% Zucker. We produce our rosehip pulp to be consumed pure and do not use sugar. But if you don’t have time and want to bake with rosehip pulp, then the purchased version is definitely an alternative: you save the sweetness. However, care must be taken that the rosehip pulp is organic and does not contain normal sugar, but at least raw sugar. Raw rose hips contain a lot of vitamin C. If you buy rosehip pulp and bake it, then it comes from Vitamin C Unfortunately there isn’t much left because it is very sensitive to heat.

For 20 homemade rosehip biscuits you will need:


Preparation of biscuits
Make a fountain with the peanuts and place the rose hip pulp in the centre. Then knead everything until you get a sticky dough. Subsequently you can roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut out with a 4-5 cm round cutter. However, it is very sticky.


Using a spatula, you can carefully transfer the cutters to the tray. If it is too sticky you can always briefly moisten the rolling pin and spatula with water. This helps in the short term. Garnished with half a walnut, the biscuits can then be placed in the oven at 160° for 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden. Homemade rosehip biscuits from local sources are ready Wild plants.
