When to sow?

  • First of all, from February to mid-March: the ideal period to start sowing indoors.
  • Then, from April to May: sow in the open ground after the last frost.

Where and how to plant?

  • Blueberries: well-drained soil, sunny exposure.
  • Cosmos: well-drained soil (even dry), full sun.
  • Marigold: light, fertile soil, sun or partial shade.
  • Nasturtiums: drained soil, sunny exposure.
  • Sweet Pea: Rich, deep soil, sun or partial shade.

Our advice: soak the sweet pea seeds in water overnight to encourage germination.

Sowing techniques

Indoor (from February):

  • Nasturtiums: sow in pots at 13-16°C and keep the soil moist.
  • Cosmos: sow in a 3 mm deep bowl, between 18 and 25°C.

In open ground (from April-May):

  • Sow after the last frost.
  • Capuchins: in bags of 4-5 seeds 6 mm deep, spaced 30 cm apart.
  • Sweet peas: in 2-3 seed pockets 2.5cm deep, spaced 30cm apart.
